Mental Health Judo breaks down the concepts of Mindfulness, Empathy, Self-compassion and the daily rituals we need to practice in order to stay healthy. Stress and suffering are actually part of the human experience, so you need to learn how to be kind to yourself and understand that things from your past or your daily thoughts don’t define you as a person and that you can build a healthy daily routine to manage those thoughts. Strong mental health is enhanced by understanding that mind, body, and spirit are the three components of our system that need to all be working together on a daily basis. Dr. Chuck Allen and Dr. Jim Keats guide us in improving our mindfulness and self-compassion by helping us understand how to manage our thoughts and get us into the now.
