Not Many Days to Go: The Fire Service’s Premier Behavioral Health Conference Is Almost Here

The countdown is officially on.

FSPA is proud to have the Office of the Oregon Fire Marshal as its Conference Host.

In just 60+ days, the fireservice’s leading voices in behavioral health, psychology, leadership, and research will gather in Portland, Oregon, for the 9th Annual Conference of the Fire Service Psychology Association (FSPA) on October 15-16, 2026.

This isn’t just another conference. It’s the only national event dedicated exclusively to bringing together the fire service and behavioral health professionals to improve firefighter wellness, resilience, and readiness.

Why It Matters

Firefighters face increasing challenges related to trauma exposure, burnout, recruitment, retention, peer support, and suicide prevention. At the same time, clinicians and researchers are working to better understand the unique culture and demands of the profession.
FSPA is where those worlds come together.

For two days, attendees will exchange ideas, share emerging research, build professional relationships, and explore practical strategies that can make an immediate impact in departments and communities across the country.

Whether you’re a:

• Company officer
• Behavioral health coordinator
